Colombia, Collab Lot

STORY

This Collaboration Lot is created by Unblended, our Colombian supplier. Its main goal is just that: Collaboration. Not only is there the collaboration at the ground floor within the farmers in their young producer's program, but they have encouraged the roasters in the USA to be collaborative by hosting events that bring us together, teach us about the processes that this lot went through, and connect us with the actual farmers themselves.

Unblended also created this lot to help young producers branch out into the experimental world of coffee and teach them the steps into creating different styles of uniquely dried or fermented coffee. They do this in small batches that can be combined together with the other producers to create a fruity explosion! 

The lot is ever changing to give new producers a chance to experiment and be involved, but our unique lot is the fifth rendition of this collaboration. The farmers in our blend are Sara Tobon, Carolina Ramirez, Ivan Giraldo, Andres Cardona, and Sebastian Ramirez. These amazing farmers produced beautiful coffees that all have their own unique qualities, and that pooled together created a dense, fruity, and creamy coffee.
